You Brew You

Cup of Wonder - Advent 2020 Joy

Episode Summary

We invite you to participate in Cup of Wonder with us at You Brew You this Advent season. Each week on Monday, our episode will include thoughts, quotes, music and meditations for reflection. Find a random cup in your kitchen or office to spend this time with each week. Fill your cup with something you enjoy drinking - and allow both the cup and the drink to be a focal point in your quiet time. Journal your reactions to the spoken or sung offerings and/or spend a few minutes using the questions below to enrich your time. Every day in between, we will post quotes on Facebook and Instagram. We hope you’ll journey through Advent with us with joyful expectation.

Episode Notes

Is there something about your cup (or maybe what it’s filled with) that brings you joy?

What is the happiest part of your day? Morning? Afternoon? Evening? Why, or why not?

If you could be transported to the place in this world that brings you the most joy – where would you be?

What do activity or hobby do you feel the most joy in doing?

Is your joy dependent on others or yourself?

What is something small that always brings you joy? Can you name five little things that bring you joy?

If you lived to be 100 what would be one thing you would regret not doing/trying?

Where can true happiness and lasting joy be found?

How can you find joy when you don’t feel joyful?
